  • "The accommodation itself was great and they had lamas"

    26 October 2020

"I was surprised that there was no petting zoo as promised, the pool was dirty s we couldn't swim, we arrived late after 9 pm on the Sunday and had to stay outside for 20 mins with my daughter in the back seat. Maybe it's safe Nelspruit but I was definitely scared waiting for the guard to open for us. Please don't leave a photocopy with a number to call on a window at night. Also food can definitely be improved on."

  • "The accommodation"

    02 March 2020

"The room was nice and clean. the only thing was the restaurant, the service was very bad, we waited over an hour for our food and the food was cold."

  • "Gradually declining in value"

    19 August 2018

"We arrived at the venue to check in with no electricity. The staff had no way of confirming our orders booked, no plan B and I practically had to offer a kidney to confirm my booking via Safari now. The premises had no back up generator for this. Non of the guests were given torches, or accompanied to their rooms.. We were all left having to find our way in absolute darkness. We weren't informed of any emergency lighting available in the rooms. I only came across this the following day packing our bags. The bedding needs attention. We had a joyful shower with a severely blocked drain (that also happened to syphon all night while we were trying to sleep. I've frequented this establishment over a period of 20 years, seen numerous management take overs and a gradual decline in service. Myself and my wife even share a special memory in the lion honeymoon suite, as this is were I proposed to her. Really sad that this will probably be the last time I spend my time at this venue. When I start to question the security and safety of my family is when I cut ties!. Its time to reflect on your business values and experience for your patrons. Very disappointing experience"

  • "Bundu Lodge 2016/07/25"

    25 July 2016

"I stayed at Bundu Lodge the weekend and had a fabulous stay. Gardens and very neat and the rooms are very beautiful. We stayed in the luxury rooms that was absolutely beautiful however a few things that could be suggested, there are no 2pin plugs in the room and no bottled water. the service at the restaurant area is extremely slow and when sitting around the fire, once the wood was finished the guests were advised that we need to pay for new wood to be put on. Overall our experience was pleasant."

  • "Bundu Magic"

    25 December 2015

"What a wonderful lowveld break. The staff and reception are helpful and polite, the setting and lodge are great with lovely surroundings, food, and fantastic amenities. The rooms are comfortable with only our inefficient and noisy window/wall air conditioner to complain about. A solid 3 stars."

    04 April 2013

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms are lovely and the resort is very well kept with lots to do like put-put, swimming, having a braai and feeding the animals. The restaurant is very convenient and offers a lovely buffet. It was a great stay."
