Kudeta B & B

Experience the Art of Hospitality.

Welcome to KU DE TA, an exquisite B&B/Guesthouse nestled in the heart of the sub-tropical lowveld.

Step into a world of beauty and tranquility at KU DE TA White River. Originally built in the early 1990s by Alma Mullin - a trailblazing forester and the first woman to complete a lumberjacks course in Europe - this magnificent mansion offers a truly unique getaway. When Alma decided to embark on a new chapter in a retirement village, I instantly fell in love with the property and transformed it into the breathtaking haven it is today. With extensive renovations and an elegant expansion of 500 square meters, KU DE TA White River was born.

Indulge in the allure of our 7 meticulously designed en suite rooms, each boasting their own private outside courtyards. Adorned with gorgeous farm-style verandas, some of our rooms perfectly complement the enchanting Lowveld climate. Immerse yourself in the ambiance of tranquility and serenity as you enter our individually decorated bedrooms featuring exquisite Indonesian Teak furniture and minimalist aesthetics. Our serene koi pond, gracefully weaving its way through the house and courtyards, radiates a sense of calm delight.

Discover the epitome of relaxation in our spacious lounge, adorned with oversized daybeds beckoning you to unwind and indulge in lazy afternoons. Delight your taste buds with our delectable breakfast or request a delicious dinner, served in our enchanting dining room. Opening up to the front garden, the dining room creates an atmosphere of openness and harmony with nature.

Escape to our lush and captivating subtropical garden, where a rolling green lawn, majestic Royal palms, and enchanting dappled shade trees await. Marvel at the beauty of orchids, delicate ferns, vibrant shrubs, and rare collector's plants that grace this verdant sanctuary. Let the refreshing ambiance of our garden whisk you away to a world of blissful tranquility.
