Numbela, Exclusive Riverside Accommodation
Numbela is small and peaceful with beautiful trees and forest birdlife. Each cottage is fully detached, self contained and private. The cottages and the owner's house are contained within 3 hectares of garden alongside the river. Beyond the garden, the rest of the property has 80 hectares of of organic farmland, wetland, woodland and natural, indigenous bush, much of it alongside the river. One may walk to the waterfall which is 2km away. Yellowwood Cottage and The Tin House are available for self-catering only. Food items may be purchased en-route to Numbela. There are a number of good restaurants in the area in White River, Hazyview or Nelspruit 20-40km away.We only take children under 12 by arrangement.

26 November 2007"I was pleasantly surprised with the accommodation! Since we arrived a bit late on Saturday night due to rainy conditions on the road and subsequent slow traffic, we were received by the night staff/guards. It was from the onset evident that the guard (George) and his team went out of their way to accommodate us in these very wet conditions with an unexpected power failure at the farm. We were even upgraded to the other cottage without any additional costs and well looked after. I will deffinitely be back, this time for longer.Thank you so much, Numbela!"
