Die Kuierhoekie

Located in the town of Williston, home in the Karoo, Die Kuierhoekie offers quality self-catering accommodation in three comfortable en-suite rooms.

The rooms are well equipped with beds, en-suite bathrooms and kitchenettes with corner fridges, microwave toasters and kettles with coffee, tea and rusks. For those who like to spend a quiet evening in front of the television, the rooms are also equipped with DStv and local channels. There is a lovely little garden with under-cover braai facilities and safe parking is available.

The town of Williston forms part of the three sister towns of the Karoo Highlands; here you can follow the trail of Cornelius de Waal, a giant of a man who earned a small wage carving gravestones years ago. Afterward one can go on a fascinating gravestone route to the cemetery and surrounding farms.

Take a voyage between times as you amble through these three fascinating towns; it will give you a fresh perspective on life.
