  "This was a highlight of our journey. The cottage was quaint and comfortable and it was lovely to be in the midst of a historic farm and far from a town. We sat outside and saw stars of a brightness we had not seen for years. Just over the wall, in the game part of the farm, we saw a herd of springbok and nyala at dusk. Very special. The little kitchen was well equipped. The only downside is that the farm road has a middelmannetjie, which wasn't ideal for our rather low car. We had to go extremely slowly over the 5 km. But it was worth it and we would love to spend more time there."

  "The cottage has thick stone walls and stone floors - VERY cold in winter. But the room was pre-warmed and the very comfortable bed had an electric heater and the welcome was very warm, so we were happy. The rusks were great"

  "Unfortunately we arrived late -- we were welcomed at this lovely sandstone farm guest cottage despite being late. The place was immaculate and we would have loved to stay late and longer.<div>Their dogs, a big gentle Great Dane, a lovely little Jack Russell and a sweet, soft young spaniel were friendly and the spring hares were fun to watch bounding off like marsupials from another world.</div><div><br /></div><div>I would strongly recommend Eittel to all who need a great place to stop-over and also to those who would enjoy a few days rest.</div>"

  "We were not happy with the accommodation as we were three adults and we specifically requested two bedrooms. We end up sleeping in the attic and by 3h30 were woken by rats/mice and there after by bats. It was not clean in the attic and the beds were very uncomfortable. There were pots,but no stove,a microwave but not dishes to use inside the microwave,braai area but no wood or braai rack were provided. We were a couple and an elderly woman who would not be able to climb those wooden stairs. We were not informed by Christelle that we can bring our DSTV card and we booked breakfast and on arrival were informed that a cold breakfast was in the fridge consisting of -3 jogurts,3muffins,grated cheese,fruit and 6 pieces of rolled ham and cereal. We were not impressed."

  "Ons het ongelooflik lekker gebly. Charl & Christine is die gasvryste mense wat ek nog ontmoet het. Ons sal die plek vir enige iemand aanbeveel. We had an unbelievably enjoyable stay. Charl and Christine were the most hospitable people that I have ever met. We will recommend to anybody."

  "It was a wonderful experience to stay here - I loved the cold fresh air and the fact that u can see so many stars. What a treat! Christelle had warmed the room and beds up which was really appreciated too. It was just tricky finding it in the dark. We had a wonderful stay and I will definitely use Eittel again if the chance arises!"
