    03 June 2017

"I wanted to stsy in the Winburg hotel for a spesific reason. They had no knowledge of my booking and I ended up staying in the Winburg guest house where they did not offer any dinner nor breakfast. I was under the impression that my booking in the hotel included breakfast."

  • "Winberg Herberg Hotel May 2014"

    24 May 2014

"We can at least say the beds were comfortable and clean and there was plenty of hot water. But drinking water is not provided, check the heaters work before accepting room and that the wiring is not about to electrocute you when plugging in any device."

  • "Winburg Herberg"

    22 April 2014

"We were accommodated in the old Winburg Hotel, which is showing it's age, but is nevertheless clean and reasonably well equipped. Friendly staff. Dinner at the Guesthouse was good. Cost of breakfast is not included in the tariff, but was reasonably priced."

  • "Home from home"

    14 October 2013

"I recently spent the weekend at the Herberg with my motorcycle friends. Deon and his friendly staff catered to all our needs. They went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The food was good and the accommodation comfortable. And even though the Cheetahs won against the Bulls I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you to all of you, I will visit again. Ken."

  • "Average"

    10 October 2013

"I did not see any thatch. Unfortunately had to book out as there was no water in the whole town until Saturday and this was Tuesday afternoon. The new South Africa. I must say the receptionist was sweet and very helpful and they refunded me in full. From what I could see it was an old hotel."

  • "Stay in July"

    08 July 2013

"Very helpful and welcoming but there were some shortcomings, e.g. no shades on bedside lamps (on return trip we asked for them and got some), no door on the bathroom/toilet (rather inhibiting!)."
