Swallows Nest offers comfortable accommodation in the pretty little town of Winterton, the gateway to the central Drakensberg some 14 km away. Swallows Nest is nestled at the foot of these majestic mountains and is one of the largest towns in this area.
Accommodation is offered in twin or double suite bedrooms, as well as a family room. Each unit include
tea and coffee-making facilities, a fan and heater, microwave, bar fridge.
A number of museums and monuments are available for those interested in the history of farming in the area as well as playing host to a collection of San paintings.

The room was beautifully decorated, fresh and modern with electric blankets and a warm shower.I would have appreciated a more comfortable feather pillow and the coffee/tea tray being of a higher standard but otherwise it was a lovely experience in a beautiful garden."
