"The attention to detail and friendliness of the owners"
"Loved the farm and the stunning big house, and our hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!"
"Loved the views and cottage was great ,had all we needed."
"This is a one roomed cottage so the bed is in the living area, with a separate showeroom ,the kitchen doesn't have a cooker but a two ringed hot plate and electric frying pan which is sufficient for simple meals. The hot tub was a great hit on cold winters nights and we found it to be a relaxing experience under the stars. There were nice touches from the owners , fresh orange juice , coffee , milk in the fridge and a warm welcome plus a bottle of the estate wine.. This is on a working fruit farm so expect some noise from machinery. Lovely place to be when the sunshines with great views to the mountains ."
"We had a wonderful stay at Hoogwater. There was a lot of attention to detail - great coffee, cold water in the fridge, enough milk, etc. There is a wonderful walk-in shower. We really enjoyed the hot-tub, but it is outside, and the water used to fill it appears to be borehole/dam water - this may not be everyone's cup of tea."
"Hoogwater cottage is peaceful and inviting. The wood fired hot tub is a great way to relax. I spent the last 5 days lounging around undisturbed and very relaxed. The farm owners are friendly and the cottage had everything we needed. I would definitely go back! <br />"
