Kingfisher Lodge

Kingfisher Lodge is situated in the small suburb of Yellowwood Park, just 14 km from Durban. This leafy garden suburb has a feel for real village living, and guests will find that the majority of the roads are named after birds.

Accommodation is offered in a thatch roof unit which sleeps six people and two cabins sleeping two guests in each. All units feature lovely views overlooking a tropical garden and a private braai area. Guests are also welcome to use the sparkling swimming pool, table tennis table, pool table, and communal boma. The units are serviced daily, except on Sundays and public holidays.

The lodge borders the Stainbank Nature Reserve, which is the ideal setting for picnics, walks, and to simply unwind, and tours can be arranged into the reserve to visit the castle. The closest beach is only 10 minutes away and we are 15 minutes from the greater Durban area. Yellowwood Park has a bus route, and a taxi or shuttle service can also be arranged if required.
