  "We were in Zeerust for a family-weekend event and only really slept at Mbewa, but it was such a relaxing, and comfortable farm-stay. Annelien, our host was very friendly and helpfull and everything we needed was there, including a pool just off our doorstep which the kids loved!"

  "Gn accommodatie om 's winters te verblijven. De verwarming is namelijk absoluut ontoereikend. Door de zeer grote hoeveelheid vele metershoge bomen kwam er gn straaltje zonlicht in de rondavel, waarin wij sliepen. Het wandelpad was totaal onvindbaar. Toegang tot internet was uitsluitend aanwezig bij de eigenares "op schoot". Wij moesten kennelijk blij worden van de liefst vijf aanwezige, erg opdringerige honden. Het tweepersoonsbed met elektrische deken was prima, de inrichting van de rondavel was verzorgd.<br />"

  "I needed some peace and quiet to get some writing done. Mbewa Cabins was the perfect place! The cabin was very cozy. Everything was there. I love birdwatching, and on my walks (or just sitting outside my door), saw all sorts. The Braai was fantastic. Annalien, the host, was most helpful. I highly recommend this destination!"

  "We spent our final night of our holidays at Mbewa Cabins travelling back from Botswana to Bloemfontein. I was a bit concerned at first about it being away from town but is a quick 10Km trip if you need anything. The cottages are absolutely wonderful, very neat and clean, well equipped kitchen and fully stocked bar bridge. The setting, you could not ask for anything more if you just want to unwind and relax. You have a lapa, braai area and swimming pool all at your disposal. We were the only guests that night so had everything to ourselves. Annelien and her husband were very friendly and welcoming.Thanks for a lovely stop over."

  "We are a group of seven (grandparents plus family of five) and had the most wonderful stay at Mbewa Cabins. Annalien gave us a warm welcome and welcomed us to her family and her lovely home. Our accommodation was superb, with every comfort and small detail carefully thought out. Our dinner and breakfast were memorable: she is a wonderful cook! All in all, we could not fault a single aspect, and would love to return. There is peace and privacy, comfort and friendship here. Thoroughly recommend Mbewa Cabins, its eco walks, swimming pool and comfy beds."

We arrived late after a long drive from Namibia, through Botswana & Annalien was a breath of fresh air...so welcoming!After a lovely meal, we retired to a very comfortable cabin, with all the necessary requirements...a homely touch. We will definitely stopover there again, should we be in the region. Highly recommended!"

  "Friendly welcoming place , easy to find and 5 minutes off the main road. A nice, home cooked meal in the evening with wine, and a big breakfast in the morning. If you want to walk off all the food there is a well marked nature trail. Perfect for a one night stop over and good value"
