Aquila No. 1

Aquila No. 1 is a spacious four-bedroom apartment located in a duplex, with lovely sea views and within walking distance of the beach in Zinkwazi. Zinkwazi takes its name from the Zulu word for "white-headed fish eagle" and offers a small village atmosphere as well as a lovely 7 km lagoon along the North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal.

The self-catering apartment features an open-plan ground floor opening out onto tiled veranda, both undercover and out in the open. Located on the ground floor is the Africa Suite which offers twin three-quarter size beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Near the entrance of the apartment is the Garden Room which contains a double bed and a small en-suite bathroom with a shower.

The Sunshine Suite, which is the master suite, is located upstairs. This room offers a king-size bed and has its own veranda overlooking the sea and lagoon. The room also features a dressing room leading into a full bathroom. Also upstairs is the Ocean Room, which is a double room with twin beds and views over the sea and lagoon. Immediately opposite this room is a full bathroom.

The comfortable lounge area features a TV and DStv is also available. The lounge and dining room, with a six-seater table, leads out through glass sliding doors onto the veranda, while the fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge, stove and oven, kettle, and toaster. In addition, the scullery is fitted with a washing machine and dishwasher for guests' convenience.

Zinkwazi is renowned for its birdlife, and the Zinkwazi ferry provides rides along the lagoon, ideal for relaxing. There are also plenty of world-class golf courses in the area, including Zimbali Golf Course, Durban Country Club, Umhlali Country Club, and Mount Edgecomb.
