"Rykie and Alta are the most welcoming hosts and always willing to assist. Makes the entire experience just that much more fantastic. The unexpected show on Saturday was such a bonus. Thanks again."
"A wonderful stay with my family at Khomeesdrift. Wonderful hosts, facilities and activities. Child safety an advantage and pet friendly too."
"Loved the kayaking and the peacefulness."
"The campsite is conveniently close to the town, but this also means it is very close to a busy road. The wind is very strong during the day until the evening so wind protection is a must. Unlike inferred from the description, there are no plug points at the ablution facilities so come prepared. Not enough toilet paper is supplied for the amount of people at the camp (runs out by early afternoon) so bring your own. Toilets also get dirty because they have to service so many people. All in all, a quiet and peaceful place but the price does not match the lack of amenities."
"We will definitely be back."
"The camp is well situated in that it is not too far from the town, so that residents are not completely isolated. At the same time, it is far e ough away from town to feel remote. The river and canoes are an absolute pleasure and a highlight of the campsite. The bathrooms are well maintained. The biggest problem was the wind. It blows strongly almost 24/7 and this makes the experience frustrating, as one is constantly having things blowing over. We sort of wind barrier is definitely recommended if you stay here."
"We had such an enjoyable weekend camping at Khomeesdrift. The kids spent the weekend in the water, the adults could watch from a shady vantage point on the grassy bank and our dogs were in heaven to be part of the fun. We will definitely be back :)"
"Enjoyable couple of days at 'Khomeesdrif Camping Site'.As midweek, only 3 campers so quiet and was able to relax and enjoy the wildlife, kayaking on the river and mountain views, stunning scenery and welcoming owners. Definitely be going back."
"Tijdens ons bezoek aan Khomeesdrif hebben we genoten van de rust en het natuurschoon. De voorzieningen zijn verrassend en grappig door hun eerlijke en ruime eenvoud."
